Countless studies and research have been done on the benefits of body movements in the overall sense – physical activity as opposed to our current, less active modern lifestyle. (Seating for long periods of time, decreased outdoor activities)


Our everyday choices have a direct impact on the quality of life we have because everything is connected – from what we choose to do at the moment we wake up to what we do right before retiring for the night.


The quick and repetitive list (of benefits) is quite convincing that makes you wonder how something so simple and available can oftentimes be overlooked. However, we know that things come in our way, priorities and deadlines can be at stake. So, what do we do?


  •       Taking walks outdoors might not always be possible for some of us – (weather, neighborhood safety, time)
  •       Going to the gym – membership, money issues, privacy, travel & time, personal reasons, kids)
  •       Workplace – might not involve enough physical activity or opportunities to get out & just move
